Door to Door Organics was started by my super hero (but I've always called him Dad), a family friend, and me in 1997 in beautiful Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It became a family business in 1999 and I made it a sole venture (speaking with Dad several times a week) in 2001.

In the fall of 2004, I moved out to Colorado in pursuit of a lifestyle change and to duplicate the business. After settling down in Boulder operations began in a 300 square foot garage in South Boulder. The first box was delivered in November to Bailey.

With Door to Door enjoying slow and steady growth I found myself married in the summer of 2006 with a baby coming the following spring. My wife being from Michigan, we decided to spend the winter there to be close to her family. “What a great opportunity to start a Door to Door in Michigan” I thought. So off we went and in January of 2007, Door to Door Organics was launched in Michigan.

Back in Colorado, Door to Door continued its path on the slow and steady growth train. In March of 2009 the opportunity came across my desk to expand to Kansas City. After hearing the sales pitch I said to myself, “why not?” A few short weeks later Door to Door was operating in KC.

As we continue to grow here at Door to Door Organics, our values and visions will always remain the same. Bringing the freshest and top quality organic fruits, vegetables and select groceries (local when available) right to the customers' front door while providing the best service all around as possible.
